Hello! My name is Mimi!

My art is a portal into a handmade storybook world full of wonder, interconnectivity, and reverence for the Earth.

My inspiration comes from the plants and animals I meet in the woods of New England and from a life long love of stories, mythology, and fairy tales. I believe more than anything in the power of art, community, and nature, and hope to create picture books in which all children - no matter who they are or what they look like - can see themselves as integral and celebrated parts of this magical, strange, beautiful whole.
